A new OHIM database has been developed to help examiners to be more consistent and efficient so they can make comparisons with goods and services in their decisions. At the moment its only used internally but will be introduced later this year. OHIM is quoted as saying

"Making the database publicly available via the OHIM website is intended to help users predict the attitude of the office to the comparison of goods and services, and help them in their own decision-making process".
